Winter has never been my season, and this one less than most. Sub-zero temps are torture enough, but Oklahoma wind transforms the cold and makes a pocketknife into a katana. It slices you with mindless brutality. Anyone experiencing this terrific blast from Old Man Winter, please be safe and keep warm. Don’t worry about Zelda. She’s curled up next to the wood stove, drowsing.
