I predict 2024 will be a big year, y’all.

Not only do I have three “Legend of Ginny Sutton” novels drafted, but the fourth is started and I’ve got the raccoon in my brain busy washing ideas. Book one is in the hands of an editor, and I’ve got a talented artist working on the cover. They’re carefully chosen because I love and respect the special flair each of them brings to their work, and I think they’re the right fit for my weird yet inspiring tales. I just returned from Superstars 2024, and even after my third time attending I still came home with my brain and my heart full to bursting. There’s nothing like Superstars. It’s the best con in the business. I met a lot of great people this year—even earned myself a cool new nickname—and already can’t wait to go back next February. To tide you over until BLOOD FOLLOWS BLOOD debuts this spring, check out my short story OUT OF HABIT, which appears in the alternate history anthology honoring Eric Flint titled A BIT OF LUCK. Published by WordFire Press, it’s available now in both ebook and print editions, as well as a fantastic audiobook narrated by the amazing Brenda McGinnis. Proceeds from book sales benefit the Superstars Scholarship Fund, so it’s money well spent in more ways than one. Be sure to check me out on Facebook and Instagram for updates, bookish things, funny memes, and news. Much love to you all!
