Books and Short Stories

Broken and alone, Ginny Sutton has taken to roaming the West—and occasional bounty hunting—to cope with her tortured past.

After hunting down Jim Puckett, her brother-in-law and notorious leader of the Mad Dogs gang, her life is upended once again when his corpse walks into camp to claim her soul.

Escaping his evil intentions and meting out justice forces Ginny down a long and bloody path to absolution, where she must face not only real demons and monsters, but her own.

Plunged into a waking nightmare of walking corpses, possessed posses, vampires, werewolves, ghost soldiers, witchcraft, and every other supernatural threat her enemies can throw at her, Ginny is forced to embrace one universal truth: HOPE IS NOT A STRATEGY.

This anthology of alternate history stories honoring Eric Flint was published by Wordfire Press in February 2024 and contains Julie’s short story, Out of Habit. Check out the Goodreads review that’s too nice to fuss over the misspelled name!
