My story in this creepy collection is titled “Night of Terror” and is set at a rural Oklahoma boarding school in the 1970s. It’s loosely inspired by a similar alleged UFO attack that happened around that same time. I’ve always loved space and the idea of interacting with extraterrestrials, but the flip side of wonderment is horror and that’s what I’ve tried to capture with this story. My favorite part of crafting the tale was after my husband read it and gave the ending an even more horrifying interpretation than I intended! You’ll have to read the story on October 17 to see what you think happened.
WordCrafter Press has a wide selection of other fabulous titles, including last year’s VISIONS anthology which included my story “Tourist Trap”. Kaye always has something interesting going on and releases new projects regularly. Check out her blog for all the latest news about not only MIDNIGHT ROOST, but her other projects and available editing services.
Don’t miss out on these terrifying tales! It won’t be a proper Halloween without them!
Great post. Somehow I’m unable to find your sharing options on the blog here.

It’s always great to meet another contributor to Kaye’s anthologies.
